The press fitting end is annularly shaped as “U” type groove bead with O ring sealing inside. When assembling, the pipes inserts into the fittings, then pressed by professional press tools, to make the joint inside the “U” type groove reducing to final hexagon, resulting strong connecting strength, meanwhile achieving the sealing function by the deformation of the O ring.
In market, we have two type of press fitting end, m type and v type.
M type is named after mapress, and V type is named after viega.
