Press fitting O ring material are EPDM, Viton, NBR, HNBR. The surface shall be plain, no bubbles, no crack or other defects affecting the performance. The choose of O rings decide on the environment and medium. EPDM rubber is used for water and heating supply, while we shall use NBR or HNBR for gas. More, Viton is the best choose for oil or high temperature.
